VINReport is an online service that lets you check a US vehicle VIN and purchase vehicle history reports (Carfax / AutoCheck data from licensed sources).
We are not an official partner of Carfax, Experian or AutoCheck. We provide information through independent suppliers.
2. Data we collect
Account data: when you sign in with Google — name, email, profile picture, Google user ID.
Transaction data: VIN, report type purchased, payment status, date. We do not store card details directly — payment providers (banks / Payze etc.) process payments.
Technical data: IP address, browser type, device, cookies, usage statistics.
Communications: if you contact us, we keep your message and contact details.
3. How we use data
VIN checks and report delivery.
Account creation and private dashboard (view your reports).
Payment processing and order confirmation.
Site security, fraud prevention and service improvement.
Where required by law — e.g. lawful requests from authorities.
4. Sharing with third parties
Report data providers — to obtain history data by VIN (licensed API).
Google — for authentication (Google Privacy Policy: policies.google.com).
Payment providers — Bank of Georgia (BOG) only, as needed to process payment.
Hosting and technical services — to operate the site.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties for marketing.
5. Data retention
Account data is kept while your account is active or until deletion is requested.
Orders and reports are kept as long as needed to provide the service and as required by law.
Technical logs — typically up to 12 months.

We use HTTPS encryption, protected servers and access controls.
Reports are available only to the authenticated account owner.
API keys and internal service data are not exposed in the browser.
Despite these measures, no internet transmission is 100% secure — we cannot guarantee absolute security.
